Privacy Policy
How Pristine Soft Washing handles personal information provided through enquiries and business interactions.
Website hosting and enquiry forms
Our website may use Netlify to host the site and process website form submissions on our behalf. Information submitted through a website form may therefore be processed or stored by that service provider in accordance with its applicable service and privacy arrangements. We use submitted information only for the purposes described in this policy and to respond to your enquiry.
Last updated: 27 September 2026. Pristine Soft Washing handles personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws and the practices described in this policy. Where the Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles apply to us, we will comply with those requirements.
1. Information we collect
We may collect information you provide when requesting a quote, sending a message, accepting a quotation or communicating with us, including your name, business or organisation, email address, phone number, property or site details, service requirements, requested timing, photographs and captions, and other information you choose to provide.
2. Website quote-request photographs
The website may invite you to upload up to five optional photographs of the work area. A quote request can be submitted without photographs. Uploaded images are used to understand site condition, access, approximate scale and service requirements and may be retained with the enquiry and related business records.
3. Quote photographs and digital acceptance records
When Pristine prepares a quotation, we may attach up to five photographs and captions identifying quoted areas, observable condition, access constraints or exclusions. If you use our digital quote system, we may also record the services and total accepted, applicable terms version, acceptance date and time, electronic signature, quote integrity reference and limited technical information such as browser or device information used to create the acceptance record.
4. How we collect information
Information may be collected through our website forms, secure quote portal, email, telephone, written communications, site assessments and during service delivery.
5. Why we use it
We may use information to respond to enquiries, assess and prepare quotations, document scope and condition, provide and schedule services, issue invoices, manage customer and business relationships, maintain contractual and financial records, improve our processes, measure enquiry sources and meet legal or regulatory obligations.
6. Website hosting and service providers
Our website may use Netlify to host the site, process form submissions and support website functions. Information submitted through a website form may therefore be processed or stored by that provider in accordance with its applicable service and privacy arrangements. We may also use other service providers where reasonably necessary to operate the business. We do not sell personal information.
7. Referral, advertising and campaign information
Our website records limited campaign attribution information associated with enquiries, including UTM source, medium, campaign, content and term parameters, landing pages, external referrers and advertising click identifiers (such as Google or Meta click IDs). We use Google Tag Manager on public website pages so our marketing provider, Localsearch, can manage analytics and advertising measurement tags. Depending on the tags enabled, Google and our marketing provider may receive information about page visits, device/browser details, advertising interactions and enquiry events; those tags may use cookies or similar technologies. We use this information to measure website and advertising performance. Customer quote, invoice and administration pages do not include this marketing container. Our enquiry event does not intentionally include names, email addresses, phone numbers, property addresses or uploaded photos. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Google explains its processing at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
8. Marketing use of photographs
A photograph supplied for quoting or attached to a service record is not automatically permission for public marketing. Where we wish to use identifiable customer or property photographs for promotional purposes, we will rely on an appropriate permission or other lawful basis.
9. Direct marketing
Where permitted, we may contact business recipients about services relevant to their role. Recipients can ask us not to contact them for marketing at any time, and we will respect that request.
10. Security and retention
We take reasonable steps appropriate to our business to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed for quoting, service delivery, contractual and financial records, dispute resolution and applicable legal requirements, after which it may be securely deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
11. Overseas processing
Some technology or hosting providers may process or store information outside Australia. Where disclosure obligations apply, we will provide appropriate information about that processing.
12. Access and correction
You may contact us to request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
13. Questions or complaints
Privacy questions or complaints can be sent to pristine_softwashing@outlook.com or by calling 0424 616 864. We will consider the issue and respond within a reasonable time.
14. Updates
We may update this policy as our website, technology, business operations or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on this page.
